How Quick Could I Pass My Test?
Pupils often ask this question? lets try and answer that for you!
- Remember - Different people learn at different speeds, whether your looking for Driving Lessons for Beginners or have some Driving Experience, it takes as long as it comfortably takes. Its not a race to pass, its about passing with the skills to keep yourself and others safe.
- Recommended by DVSA (Driving Vehicle Standards Agency) - 45 Hrs Tuition & 22 Hours Private Practise with friends or family members
- Our Lessons are 2hrs long for a reason - More Information is retained - More drive time behind the wheel - More efficient way of learning.
- Remember - Some take several weeks / Others take Several Months
- Just because you take longer than others, this does not mean you wont pass your test
- Don't forget to stay within the Law when practising with family or friends
- Remember - Your family or friend driver must be 21 or over with a minimum of 3 years driving experience.
- Don't forget your L Plates - Front & Back
- Oh - and you need to make sure that you are insured on the car you are driving
- Private Practise is a great way to gain extra confidence when learning.
- If you have a choice of family or friends to practise with - choose the person with the most patience, & preferably wont teach you their bad habits.
- As an Instructor, we will not put you through a test if we think you are not ready for the test, thats defeating the object of all your hard work & money spent.
- Also - Its a huge Confidence knock, if you keep failing your test because you are not ready, and it gets rather expensive as well.
- Your instructor will give you an honest & realistic opinion of how quickly you could possibly pass your test, but only after the first few lessons.
- The first few lessons gives the instructor an opportunity to see how quickly you can pick things up, as well as what stage you are at with experience in driving.
- Remember - if you don't pass a test - its not the end of driving, keep practising, maybe a few more lessons to put right what went wrong and have another go.
- Also Remember - Its not uncommon for people to not pass first time around
- And Lastly on this subject - The test is harder than it used to be in Mum or Dads day. The test has changed alot since then, so a family member or friend telling you that you should only need 10 lessons to pass, would be doing you an injustice.
- Come along to some taster lessons, and then see what the instructors advice would be based on your first few lessons.

Hope the above goes someway to answering this question - Good Luck
