We are a family based Driving School located in the heart of the beautiful County of Dorset. We specialise in helping people learn to drive a Manual Car. We don't rush the learning process and love to help students gain that confidence they may be struggling to find, and go onto achieve their goal of transport independence. That maybe in the way of Driving Lessons with Select 1st Driving School or On - Line video consultation or a 1 off Driving Assessment followed by a face to face chat about where the instructor thinks you are with your learning, so Mum & Dad know exactly whats required, to teach you all the skills to drive safely & past your test, in your own car.

We have a new dual controlled car, which enables the Instructor to stop the car, at any point, should the student start to struggle with whats happening at that present moment. This gives the student the cushion of knowing that they have someone to help them should it be required.

Not everyone has the means to pay for driving lessons and the test up front. That’s why we offer online video consultation & advice, to give you direction and confidence in knowing that whoever decides to teach you to drive, will be teaching you correctly, with up to date knowledge on safety & test criteria
1-1 Driving Assessment
Maybe you have been practising with a family member and you now want to see if you are on the right track. Are you driving within the law? Are you driving safely? Are you meeting the Test criteria? Could you be making things easier for yourself? All these questions and more could be answered in a one off 1 hour assessment. Followed by a 45 min 1-1 feed back at a place of your choosing with your family members
